hi im looking for a complete 3rd member with bristol gears if anyone looking to sell one thanks...also what gear will we be racing in at bristol with a 4 speed thanks again

Greg im looking for the same thing, I have a couple of leads and one is verry promising and what from a fellow racer told me friday nite I can pick up the whole chunk with a locker for around 150 with a 350 gear, thats what I have been told that would be a decent choice, if your gonna run a crate that is. These chunks are out of stock vehicles and not been in racecars, so i would say that a new set of springs and a set of bearings would be some good insurance. Im going to call this guy Monday morning and see what he has, I hear he has plenty of then since he has a salvage yard, what spline axles you need and ill ask when I call? Im assuming that most of these come out of trucks and are 31 spline

do you need a gear for the rock also? im assuming that a 300 would be about rite for us crate guys. If he has one im going to get it from him so all i have to do is change the punkin and go, and not have to mess with changing ring and pinion

for none crate motors,a 3:25 is being used

Well Greg, all I was able to find was a punkin with a 3:00 gear and locker, I asked about a 3:25 gear set and still came up empty. Im still in search of a 3:50 gear for Bristol but atleast I have a punkin and a locker and a gear for the Rock. There are alot of the cup teams that sell their parts after 1 use and are still good parts for us. Im going Thursday to get my punkin and since the guy is within an hour of Mooresville im going to go on down and try to pick up a gear. If you would like I can see if they mite have a 3:25 for you
