Re: Hudson wins at Salem

Thanks man, do you think this would be a better race at night because of the heat and for the saftey of the drivers?

Yes it should be at night, heat sucked for everyone, plus i think we would draw more fans ,fireworks would proably pack the place

Re: Hudson wins at Salem

Just worry about yourself Waldo, when you start showing up and doing the best you can with what you got, then you can start improving your racing program. You don't even know what it would take to finish one of these long races yet,you have to be there and learn what it will take,we have almost the best of everything and if you can't make to the end,all the motor won't mean a thing. It takes a very good racing program to finish these long races.

Re: Hudson wins at Salem

Marstrk you are right these street stock races are harder to finish than the ARCA races at Salem. I was talking to Frank he
was saying he forgot how hard these cars are to drive. I think you guys had a car to beat looked like one of if not the best
handeling cars there. I think Waldo and them guys need to come run one of these 200 lap races and then they might
understand a little more why the guys that are running up front in the Kimmel races are so good I don't know if that track
makes them so good or the long races they always run just don't know. But all the other racers aregaining ground just need
more races. If I had a car close to these rules like Waldo and them guys I would have been there for $5000 to win I think
there was several kimmel motors there the motor we had was not our Kimmel motor but we have run this one before he
changed the rules.

Re: Hudson wins at Salem

Congrats to the 00. I really felt like he drove within the limits of the car throughout the race and it paid off. I would have liked to see the finish if the Kimmels and Barnes had not had trouble. The heat was crazy just sitting in the stands, I can't imagine what it was like for 200 laps in the cars. Unfortunately, to have a night race in July at Salem would mean starting at 7 or 8 at night which puts the finish likely after 10 or 11 pm. Probably worth it after seeing some of the drivers after the race.
